Lola

Lola is a housing of 14 apartments on the edge of the Acacias Vernet district in Pont-Rouge. The building stands on a green and serene piece of land which borders a meander of the Aire. Designed by our founding partners at group8, the project takes from the site's environmental and topographical features.

The building sits along the street's side to preserve trees and give striking views of nature. With its cascading shape and various levels, the building adjusts to the site's slope. This device allows every apartment to have openings on two fronts and a large terrace facing the Salève. While many geometrical shapes compose the volume, wooden cladding fuses the different parts. Wood also blends the architecture with its original setting.
